This beautiful, high-quality Viking wrist cuff or bracer is crafted from thick, dyed vegetable-tanned leather and lined with soft suede on the inside for optimum comfort. It is bordered with domed studs and eyelets made of antiqued brass, and equipped with a sturdy leather cord for proper lacing.
The armguard is adorned with a twin bird motif also made of antiqued cast brass and fastened with rivets. The two birds are a handsome representation of Odin's faithful messenger ravens Hugin and Munin (or Huginn and Muninn), a recurring motif in Celtic and Viking art. In Norse mythology, the ravens fly over Asgard and Midgard and return every evening to the Allfather of the Gods (also referred to asHrafnáss, the "raven god") to tell him everything they have seen and heard.
Please note that this wristband is sold as a single unit.
